Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Health and Care

It is very important for you to find a good Veterinarian that is familiar with Cavaliers, one that can answer any questions that you may have.

If you are spaying or neutering your Cavalier the only physical difference that you may notice is that the Male’s head may be a little broader shaped. Usually there is no structural change with the females.

Diet Playtime & Socialization

We handle and love our puppies daily because we feel that is very important to build their socialization skills. Our Cavaliers love their playtime.  Make sure to check out all toys before you buy them for some of them can be dangerous.

We are meticulous when it comes to the care giving of our Cavaliers.

It is important that you keep your cavalier on a high quality puppy food; we will send you a couple days supply to get started with. If for any reason you need to change brands make sure that you mix it gradually until completely changed over to your new brand, or the puppy may get sick.

Possible Hereditary Health/Genetic Problems

We screen the Dam and Sire to make sure that they are free and clear of any major health problems.
Screening definitely helps to better the breed for possible genetic problems. There is not vet or breeder that can guarantee that your dog or puppy will never develop a hereditary health problem during his life time. By working together and being conscientious breeders we can only hope to breed the genetic problems out of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
